Who Deserves a Bathroom Renovation Valued at $20,000

To celebrate 10 years of building better bathrooms, we’re giving back to the community with a free like-for-like bathroom renovation giveaway, valued up to $20,000!

Do you know someone in Christchurch who truly deserves a new bathroom? Nominate them below by telling us who they are and why they should win. It could be a friend, whānau member, neighbour, or someone doing it tough who would benefit from a fresh start. This could even be YOU!

Eligibility & Entry 

Nominations are open to residents aged 18 or over residing within Christchurch only.

To enter you must fill in the below nomination form AND follow Browntown builders on both Facebook and Instagram - This will be checked before announcing the winner. If you do not have social media, please state this in your nomination.

Prize Details

One winner will receive a like-for-like bathroom renovation valued up to $20,000. The renovation includes standard fixtures and fittings from Harrison Bloys base range. Upgrades, additional customisations, or changes beyond the standard renovation are available at the winner's expense.

The prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable to another person or property.

 

The renovation start date will be discussed with the winner and subject to Browntown and all included businesses timeframes/schedules.

Winner Selection

The winner will be selected by the Browntown Builders team. The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be selected and notified no later than 15/9/25.

Conditions of the Renovation

The renovation must take place at a residential property owned or legally occupied by the nominee. The existing bathroom must be in a condition suitable for renovation (e.g., structurally sound, accessible).

​

Like-for-like refers to replacement of existing layout and components with equivalent items. Reconfiguration of the layout will incur additional costs.

​

The suppliers involved in this giveaway are the only suppliers that will be used for the nominated project, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any changes to suppliers may incur additional charges.

 

The winner agrees to allow Browntown Builders to photograph and video the renovation process and completed project for promotional purposes.

​

If the winner’s home does not have a second bathroom, they will need to make alternative arrangements for bathroom and shower use during the renovation period

​

Publicity

By entering, both nominators and nominees may agree to participate in reasonable publicity related to the promotion, this could include the use of names, stories, and images in marketing materials and social media. We appreciate that some people may not feel entirely comfortable with this, and we’re happy to discuss it at the time of acceptance and make any adjustments that work for both parties.

Liability

Browntown Builders is not responsible for any damage, loss, or injury resulting from participation in the giveaway or acceptance of the prize, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

All renovations will be carried out in accordance with relevant industry standards and local building regulations.

General

Browntown Builders reserves the right to amend or cancel this promotion at any time without notice.

Entry into this promotion constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
