We think of ourselves as one of those rare finds that still exists in the construction industry here in Canterbury. We apply high standards and strict quality control to high-end architectural projects, striving to bring architect’s true visions to life, using innovation and skill to take on intricate details and features that other companies often shy away from.
My passion is in giving architects and their clients the confidence and trust that is necessary for seeing complex construction projects come to life.
As you well know, a solid partnership between all parties involved is crucial for ensuring the build can be achieved within budget, using new innovations where necessary and in a way that leaves the client genuinely happy and willing to advocate for you long term. I am now at an exciting stage in our business where we are interested in developing new, potentially long term architectural partnerships, which is why I am so keen to talk to you and share my experience and vision for building.
I am very happy to offer consults free of charge with potential clients, or with anyone in the industry, to discuss how we are innovating with new technologies; to recommend sustainable construction options for projects and to share our experience working with new materials and design trends. Where a problem needs to be solved, I am in my element!
I see this early consultation phase as vital, and part and parcel of pulling a project together seamlessly.

GOLD AWARD WINNING
TOTO WHARE, LYTTELTON
Winner of the Regional Supreme Renovation of the Year as well as the Regional Category Winner, this project involved a full change to the existing upper-floor layout and a large extension to the unused and overgrown area at the back of the property, working with many of the home’s original features. We worked to tight tolerances on the high end renovation project, especially the ply interior walls which had 1mm negative detail.
KAHU ROAD TOWNHOUSES
Built on a small, challenging site, the townhouses are designed in such a way that they still feel roomy. They feature extra high trusses on the lower levels to allow for a feeling of spaciousness. Browntown Builders’ high standards and strict quality control has allowed everything to turn out exactly as planned, making for a very happy architect and client.
